Job Summary
Campus Ambassadors are responsible to be the on the ground face and voice of our education based Client. Campus Ambassadors’ main objective is to promote and market the Client’s goals and objectives through campus involvement among fellow students.
As a Campus Ambassador, you will market the importance of pursuing teaching as a profession in conjunction with other on campus event opportunities. Tasks include marketing the program website, encouraging students to attend Campus Events, and being an advocate for the Client’s initiative. Promotion techniques will include but are not limited to conducting speaking groups, on-campus pop-up recruitment centers, tabling events, general campus events, presentations and coordinating social media initiatives. Throughout the duration of the role, you will be paired up with a Regional Manager, that will act as a mentor and support you with school-specific strategies to ensure all Client goals and objectives are met/conveyed.
Program Details:
• Training Dates: August, 2013
• Program Duration: September, 2013 – April, 2014
• Work up to 6 - 10 hours per week with the ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
Hustle Promotions Part-time, Paid (College Credit Required) Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Campus Ambassador throughout the campus community
- Deliver Client’s key goals:
• Grow percentage of top tier students particularly minorities and those with STEM majors in teaching
• Foster an environment that will enhance students perception of teaching as a career
• Drive traffic and registration to the program website
- Advise students regarding future education opportunities and Client programs
- Promote the Client message and increase company awareness on campus through:
• Increase campus infiltration via on-campus tabling, events, email and social media
• Make presentations to key clubs and social groups on campus
• Identify and actively introduce the Client to campus groups and leaders while building relationships with key deans, professors and students
• Regularly visit the career center and utilize social media and campus websites.
- Promote and execute free Client events and campaigns on campus
• Promote the Client message through campus pop-up recruitment centers, conducting speaking groups, tabling events, etc.
• Use creative methods to attract candidates to recruitment centers, information sessions and campus events
• Drive traffic to the event footprint by passing out promotional literature as well as capture photos and videos during events and submit post event reports
• Host informal gatherings to encourage discussion and community among college students
- Provide daily/monthly feedback on all recruitment tactics including but not limited to, the creation of visual reports showcasing events and campus media takeovers. These reports will include traffic/attendance numbers for all events including pop-up recruitment centers as well as recommendations for improving the program

Requirements:
• Ideal candidate will showcase demonstrated interest in education and teaching and/or plans to pursue a career in teaching.
• Degree focus in either Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics preferred
• Commitment requires 6 -10 hrs per week
• Currently enrolled in a 4 yr undergraduate program with at least a 3.0 GPA, Sophomore and juniors preferred
• Well connected with campus community and interested in building networks on campus
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong presentation skills
• Superior attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
• Actively involved in student activities/clubs on campus
• Effective at time-management
• Live on or near campus
• Goal oriented and motivated by results
• Sales, marketing or event promotion experience a plus
• Flexibility, willingness to try new things
