G U E S T S P O T I N T E R N S H I P
Newly opened Contemporary Gallery in the Heart of Fells Point, Baltimore is looking for a personable and creative Intern that is motivated, responsible, open-minded and has an interest in Art, New Media, Architecture, and Film. Intern will be responsible to work in the gallery up to 4-6 hours a week including opening night events. Responsibilities included but not limited to updating gallery website and social media sites, assisting gallery director on all aspects of exhibition coordination, artist installation and deinstallation, artist liaison, event listings submissions, research, and exhibition archive, event planning and logistics and other areas of gallery assistance. Excellent verbal and written communications skills a must. Experience in Word, Photoshop, Blogger, Twitter, Tumblr, Vimeo and Facebook are required. Art gallery experience is not necessary but is a plus. Must be able to work both autonomously on projects with tight deadlines and with a team. Guest Spot Art Space 2 Part-time, Unpaid Requirements

- Studio Arts, Marketing/Hospitality, Business/Accounting, Art History, Communications Majors (preferred)
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication
- Possess multi-tasking and coordination experience
- Passion for art; actively involved in the art community
- Demonstrate attention to details while maintaining perspective
- Have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, basic HTML, MS Office Suite,
