Boolaka Description

This is an internship opportunity working on an revolutionary Entertainment Community Website which will drive the next version of the Motion Picture and Television industry. Over the next 6 months you will be building new features into the website. We need someone who is passionate about front end web development with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, XML and the ASP.NET Platform and some basic SQL Server Knowledge. You will be responsible for making content and feature updates to the website on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Boolaka 3 Part-time, Unpaid Responsibilities

Self motivation and ability to contribute and follow-through on all initiatives
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Strong UI Development interest, including graphic assets
Ability to clearly communicate issues and work to hit deliverable deadlines
Passionate about user experience and ability to pick up new things
Basic to intermediate understanding of front-end development
Cursory understanding of back-end web development processes helpful
First-hand practical knowledge of social media and web communities
Provide examples of work
Passion for web technologies required

Boolaka 3 Part-time, Unpaid Requirements

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and SQL
XML and JS is preferred
Community Server experience is a plus
Basic image manipulation using Photoshop or other image processing tools
Some experience with a version control system
Experience working with a Bug tracking database preferred
