1. OPERATIONS

We are looking for students with an interest in architecture, engineering, and/or history. This internship focuses on the upkeep of the Keswick Theatre as a historic building in the Philadelphia area, and the organization necessary to preserve it.

Operations interns assist with record keeping and project organization, assist with research of historic venue info, and convert records to digital formats. Interns may also be involved in collecting oral history from related parties and work with local Preservation Alliance and/or State Historic Preservation Office

2. RETAIL SALES

We are looking for candidates who are able to work with visual marketing materials, customer surveying, audio visual concepts (and possibly creation). There may also be some work involved with sponsorship mining, development and fulfillment

Retail Sales interns work with Manager to assess the front of house food, beverage and merchandising products including but not limited to analyzing sales, including crowd movement, service rates at different stations/bars during various shows and the sales at those stations and product use (analyzing P & O’s et al by show). Additionally, interns will work with the signage, beverage placement, product choice, and how it is perceived by the public and what sales are generated with different signage, service and placement. This person will also work interactively with the marketing department utilizing advertising streams such as emails and website location to highlight the food and beverage portions of our operation.

AEG Live 2 Part-time, Unpaid (College Credit Required) Requirements

- Must be a junior or senior at a full-time and accredited college or university
- Must provide proof of college credit within first week of internship
- Previous work experience (industry related experience is encouraged)
- Works well in a team environment
- Commitment to 16-20 hours work per week during semester
- Provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Computer literacy in MS Office programs (or other programs if the position demands it, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.)
- Can provide own housing and transportation to and from AEG Live office in Glenside, PA
