The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Description

CBTL has an immediate opening for a Social Media Video Intern in our Home Office. The ideal candidate will have previous television or film editing experience. Part of the Marketing department, this position supports and assists the Director of eCommerce & Online Marketing and Social Media Coordinator. This person reports to the Director of eCommerce & Online – and works closely with the marketing team as well as other departments throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

Producing and editing :30, :60 spots to appear on CBTL’s digital channels including in-store digital monitors, social media platforms and website. Projects will range from quick-cutting, graphics-driven, effects-heavy pieces to promotional story-telling videos and news packages, responsibilities will include:

Concepting, producing, directing and editing videos

Identifying tools and equipment to address short and long-term needs e.g. Mac/Final Cut Pro, Camera, etc.

Setting up edits including overseeing the quality and progress of audio and vision engineering and editing

Compression

Web posting on our site and our social media sites

DVD authoring and burning

Selecting Music

Media Management

Experimenting with styles and techniques for design of graphic elements

Developing & managing equipment and production budget

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Full-time, Unpaid Requirements

A minimum of three years experience editing entertainment-centric content

Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Adobe After-Effects, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Motion Soundtrack Pro, DVD Studio Pro and Compressor

High attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to work in an accurate and organized manner

Enthusiastic team player who approaches projects in a collaborative manner

Self-starter with ability to work independently

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
