Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinating, analyzing, designing, and developing of reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows with Oracle technology tools such as: PL/SQL, Oracle Reports and Oracle Forms.

Managing the full cycle development process from gathering requirements, designing the software solutions, and developing the Business Intelligence programs, reports, workbooks, and/or data extractions for the projects assigned.

Working with IT Leads with Corporate IT Group to analyze, cleanse, and maintain application data and current production issues and help maintain interfaces to third party systems for import/export into/from other various systems.

Providing Technical support to users during development, testing, and after implementation of business solutions within the Oracle application and data fixes following a change control methods to minimize business impact.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, and/or Accounting & Finance. And equivalent combination of experience and education may be acceptable..

Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Ability to exercise independent judgment.

Excellent attention to detail.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse group of professionals in close cooperation.

The developer will work with highly experienced software engineers and architects to implement enterprise applications. Additional responsibilities include providing valuable input into the design of systems, testing to identify defects, performing research, generating documentation and general application maintenance. The developer must be flexible, creative, able to take and give direction, straight forward and hard working.

JAVA is the preferred language and what they use on a daily basis. If the entry-level developer has more experience on .NET, this is fine as long as he/she is willing and open to migrating their skills to Java.
