Join our Ads engineering team and work alongside an engineer(s) on various tasks. This will require you to think on your feet and touch a wide range of tasks that includes, data aggregation, analysis, reporting, debugging/problem solving, writing tests and implementing new features

We’re looking for a curious, independent and solution-oriented thinker.

- Strong knowledge of one or more core language: PHP, Ruby, Python, Java

- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks

- Excellent communication skills in English

- Enthusiastic about the opportunity and an willingness to learn anything

- Must be able to work full-time M-F

- Must be able to work out of our Palo Alto Office at 209 Hamilton Avenue

Additional skills & experience desired:

- Experience with SCRUM methodology

- Experience working with revision control systems like git

Having just launched its private video ad exchange, dailymotion is seeking a motivated Associate Business Analyst intern to join our DMX team in Palo Alto, California. This will be a unique hands-on experience where you’ll combine analytical skills with business acumen to provide our Ads team with data and insights. You’ll be mentored by the Director of Global Indirect Revenues and will support the Exchange team as a data-driven advisor.

What the state of the digital video industry is, where it might be going and how it could get there

How to provide performance monitoring reports to the Sales and Product team

How to work with unstructured data

How to identify opportunities in improving the Advertising User Experience

How to liaison between Engineering, Sales, Client Services, and Product Management teams

Qualifications:

Recent graduate or current graduate student/undergrad

Excellent verbal and written skills - you will be conducting research and doing presentations seen by senior management!

Can do self starter attitude - identify projects and things you want to do and make it happen

Be comfortable around numbers - strong analytical and excel skills to collect business intelligence and monitor/identify trends in data

Able, willing and excited to work in a fast paced collaborative team environment

Demonstrates an understanding of big data

Computer savvy – some knowledge around HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML

Ad Tech knowledge is a BIG PLUS
