VASE Construction Description

An internship at VASE Management allows students to explore the fundamentals of construction management. The intern will find themselves on a project team performing tasks in field inspection, project management, and/or acquisitions.

VASE Construction Part-time, Unpaid Responsibilities

Support the project management team with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, file management, document control (submittals, RFIs and change orders) and progress reporting.

Work with field supervision to assist with project layout, setting control lines, surveying, construction drawing and trade coordination, verification of field conditions and quality control.

Partner with per-construction group to scope and prepare bid packages. Work with team members to solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids.

Participate in VASE Management company-sponsored events.

Current junior(rising senior) pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related discipline.

Must demonstrate genuine interest in the construction industry.

Able to work approximately 25 or more hours per week.

Success managing multiple, competing priorities in a deadline driven environment. Exceptional customer and client focus. Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners.
