At the Helm Society, the world’s top entrepreneurs and CEOs are invited to CEO Roundtables and other exclusive world class gatherings facilitated by our team. In this internship, you'll have the freedom to focus on aspects of our business that engage your passions, talents and career goals, while getting coached and building key skills in the process. Quick program details:

– start and end date of internship is flexible

– location: Westchester (NY)

– minimum 15 hours per week

– you can intern in the office, remotely, or both

Our ideal candidate is:

– a self-starter

– an excellent, consistent written and verbal communicator

– detail-oriented and organized

– proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– solving issues, creating scripts and making changes to our website, both in the source code and through the admin panel

– evaluating different products or services such as programming, hosting solution, and video blogging technology to purchase

– identifying the right systems for creating the right foundation for CRM, database programming, etc.

– resolving day-to-day challenges on Mac and PC such as syncing in a Mac environment, preparing emails for sending with our direct marketing technology platform, etc.

Required skills:

– solid background working with HTML and CSS

– understanding of PHP & JavaScript | jQuery

– working knowledge of database such as MySQL

– general understanding of MVC frameworks

This internship is eligible for academic credit (no financial compensation). Upon completion, you will receive a letter of recommendation and an introduction to potential employers – where appropriate – may be possible.
