The company’s flat-rate managed services include remote network monitoring, preventive maintenance, help desk, redundant back-ups and on-site support.

Position Description – “Marketing Intern”

The Washington Network anticipates hiring a marketing intern for the spring of 2016. The marketing intern’s primary assignment will be working alongside our experienced team in carrying out day?to?day projects. Interns can expect to gain experience in the following: marketing, social marketing, knowledge dissemination and other communications?related skills. Interns also will provide basic office support.

This is an unpaid internship, but The Washington Network will provide Course credit and provide a reference for a job well done. The office is Metro Accessible.

The Washington Network Part-time, Unpaid (College Credit Required) Responsibilities

The Washington Network Part-time, Unpaid (College Credit Required) Requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

• Current student enrolled in an accredited degree program, or recent college graduate

• Self-starter demonstrating initiative, flexibility and resourcefulness

• Able to work both independently and with supervision

• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and database software, or the ability to learn quickly

• Internet and other researching skills

• Strong written and spoken communication skills
