Managing one of the largest IT Infrastructures in the world is no small task. Microsoft IT Service Operations (SO) works across many technologies and operates the current and next wave of infrastructure, application, platform and cloud technologies. Work hands on with systems, platforms and internal Microsoft applications in a high stakes environment with the latest Microsoft platforms and technologies; including System Center 2012, Windows Server, SQL Server and Azure Cloud services.

Required Basic Qualifications:

o Pursing or within six months of graduation with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.

o 3-6 months of experience or classroom project work in two or more of the following areas:

o Troubleshooting within hosted environments

o Deployment, configuration and/or support of foundational systems in production or pre-production environments (e.g. web, video and audio conferencing; enterprise voice)

o Active Directory, Windows 2008/2008 R2 servers, TCP/IP, DHCP and Hardware Load Balancer

o Development/scripting with preference given to PowerShell, T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, C#, ASP.NET

o Design, configure and support infrastructure

o SIP PSTN Gateway & SBC deployment, configure & support.

o Exchange Unified Messaging 2010 or higher, OCS/Lync and Legacy PBX systems.

o Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)

o Experience/knowledge managing OS desktop environment

o Knowledge of Cyber Security fundamentals

o Experience working in team settings and/or virtual teams i
