Application Deadline: Closed
Timeframe: 09/01/17 — 12/30/17

Vivid Connect LLC Description

Vivid Connect is a startup company in the early stages of business development. We are planning to launch our online channel in the next 3 months and are seeking driven and motivated individuals that would love to be involved and learn from the experience of starting and growing an entrepreneurial venture. Our company’s mission is to help small businesses and universities reach vital information and resources to successfully undergo international and global expansion. We like to keep things interesting – so bring your creativity; we laugh a lot and come up with cool office nicknames; we can deal with the icky stuff; we are smart, driven and witty; but we don't take life too serious.

We are looking for a user experience geek with a strong interest in digital and app user experiences and designing for behavior change. As a Usability Researcher, you will be responsible for research that guides the roadmap and design of platforms, tools, processes, and user interfaces. Ideal candidate will have hands on experience with Voice of the Customer studies, in-person and remote usability studies with diverse audiences and experience working with technical teams to improve digital user experience. You should be able to evaluate a variety of products —from full websites to web widgets to mobile apps. Translating usability research findings into meaningful content strategy and product development recommendations will be an everyday part of your job, so you should enjoy working independently and collaboratively, have experience giving and receiving feedback on content, and have outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

We are hiring for multiple positions in a MD and you’ll have an opportunity to telework. Some on-site work may be required, but don't worry about dress code…jeans, shorts and sandals are fine by us 🙂

If you are driven, can think outside the box, posses the ability to conduct research, analyze data, and create content then we want to hear from you! Please submit an online portfolio or relevant social media account information, along with cover letter and resume.

This internship is unpaid. If you’re interested in starting your own business venture one day, this will give you the skills and knowledge of all the steps involved in starting your business and successfully managing social media channels for your business while controlling the organizational reputation management. You may also have a chance to gain priceless networking connections as part of this experience.
