The Database Administrator will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of new databases, monitoring and maintaining existing databases, resolving complex database issues, optimizing performance, and implementing protocols for disaster recovery, configuration management, and security, and will provide leadership and expertise to other team members on best practices and advanced techniques related to databases and database management.

Experience installing and patching Oracle systems. Experience with automated installs a bonus.

Provide research, SQL coding, troubleshooting and other Oracle database related skills as necessary to our development teams and clients.

Proficient in SQL and Oracle specific administrative commands using sqlplus.

Knowledge of Oracle backup technologies.

Knowledge of database and schema design.

Experience in database change management procedures.

Excellent communication skills as you will be the Lead DBA in the group and the front-facing person to the users and physicians organization.

At least 0-6 years experience with database administration and development in a clustered database environment.

Primarily working on new/updating features and documentation

Oracle DNA experience in 24X7 Unix environment with thorough knowledge of Oracle architecture.

Experience with MySQL Server, MySQL and other relational databases. Shell scripting experience required.

Experience with Unix operating system. Strong backup and recovery skills and experience with RMAN. Experience in Disaster Recovery and Multi-site failure provisioning.

Advanced Oracle performance tuning skills. Experience in SQL tuning writing cursors, triggers, stored procedures, and complex queries.
