FBD Partnership, LP Description

FBD (Frozen Beverage Dispensers) has an immediate opening for a detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to conduct studies involving work measurement methods, production standards, incentive, cost analysis, and other industrial engineering area requiring professional knowledge of the field.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Conduct work measurement studies, including use of time study, pre-determined data and other available techniques to establish labor costs and efficiencies.

•Conduct manufacturing methods studies and assist in installing methods.

•Assist in developing and monitoring production standards.

•Determine training methods for new production employees, as assigned.

•Analyze costs and develop cost reduction plans; assist managers to implement cost reduction activities as assigned.

•Provide analytical support to capacity planning efforts. This includes development, analysis, evaluation and investigation of alternatives for expansion demands and the impact on facilities, equipment, processes, and crewing.

•Other duties as needed and assigned.

•Junior/Senior College status actively pursuing Industrial Engineering Degree

•Ability to conceive and implement manufacturing studies regarding production costs or methods.

•Skilled in detail oriented work, but capable of seeing the big picture.

•Good organizational skills to independently prioritize daily activities to meet department objectives.

•Proficient in the use of a personal computer with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

•Strong communications skills, both verbal and written. Ability to listen effectively and express ideas clearly to exchange information in a team environment.
